Welcome!
Through a federal program of the Public Health Agency of Canada, known as the Community Action Program for Children (CAPC), and the Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP), funding has been made available throughout New Brunswick to develop and operate Family Resource Centres.
The Kings County Family Resource Centre is available to all families and people in the Kings County area, free of charge, who either have or care for children between the ages of birth to six years. Designed for parents/caregivers to come together with their children, it offers a happy, healthy and safe environment for families and children to play and enjoy one another’s company.

Family friendly programming is offered on a regular basis that includes parenting programs, information sessions on nutrition, healthy living, and injury prevention, Arts & Crafts, Musical Moments and other topics of interest to parents and caregivers. Free prenatal classes, Infant CPR, breastfeeding and infant feeding support, nutrition and post natal programs including Mother Goose, Nobody’s Perfect parenting program, and the Baby Bunch group are also available to all parents as well.
The Kings County Family Resource Centre is a wonderful place to meet new parents/caregivers and for little ones to meet new friends and playmates! We also have 5 Outreach locations of Belleisle, Kingston, Havelock, Norton and Hampton. We hope to see you soon!
